Admission to the next year is granted if the PhD student completes the activities outlined below, measured in terms of educational credits (CFU).

- Correspondence between hours and credits (CFU): 6 hours = 1 CFU
- 60 CFU/year
- *(YEAR II and YEAR III): periods abroad or in companies/industries counted as discounts to CFU on soft skills, seminars, conferences... and activities toward students for 4 CFU/month
